Kids For The Future Rogers, Inc.

Occupational therapists (OT) evaluate and treat children with difficulties in fine motor, visual/perception skills, sensory integration and activities of daily living. These difficulties may present as poor handwriting skills, problems attending to tasks, difficulty with dressing or eating and intolerance to different textures on their skin or during eating. OTs provide direct instruction to the child and home instructions to families to assist in decreasing sensory defensive behaviors (intolerance to touch, excessive rocking or self-injury) and allow the child to more effectively interact in their immediate environment.
